Class
update

Wow,
term three has flown by and we have all been having so much fun!! We are
all delighted at the great response to our classes and it is wonderful
to see the students having so much fun. As you know we strive to bring a
warm, fun and happy environment that is filled with positive energy and
educational content. We appreciate the effort it takes to attend class,
and thank you for your ongoing support.

Term
Four
Spring
Party
 |
We are
really looking forward to a fun and exciting term 4, with Spring in the
air and the warmer days it’s a great time to be dancing and enjoying the
vibrant days. This year all Rhythm Factory term four students will
receive a free ticket to the Rhythm Factory Spring Dance Party to be
held in November. The Party will be a time for the children to enjoy fun
dancing, characters, disco lights, games, prizes and much more. |

Photo
Challenge
 |
To
spice things up next term we would like to offer a competition that
involves Rhythm Factory Students.
Entry Details:
Take a
photo of your child in a “funny” situation whilst either wearing Rhythm
Factory logo clothing or holding a Rhythm Factory Achievement Book or
Rhythm Factory Bookmark.
Send in
images with child’s name and contact details via email, or hand them to
your teacher. Judging will be carried out by votes from a panel of
teachers.
Entries
will close end of week 4 in Term 4, winners will be announced at the end
the term.
Prizes include – T-shirts, CD’s, Merchandise Package, Term of Classes.

class
 |
We have
an open door policy for parents to enjoy the experience of seeing their
child learn and have fun. This works well however we do ask that you
assist with the following. Please respect the teacher and students class
time by

Keeping younger siblings from disrupting the class through noise or
entering into the class area. |
|
Keeping noise during class to a minimum, conversations with other
parents should be outside. |
|
Taking photographs or video at appropriate times – not disrupting
class. |
|
Eating food outside class room or cleaning up any crumbs or mess left
behind |

Thank

We
would like to welcome Stephanie to the team. She comes to us
with a wealth of dance and performance experience, a passionate approach
to children and a wonderful vibrant personality.
Rebekka
is currently working on the choreography of an upcoming performance of
“Kiss me Kate” to be held at Chatswood Town Hall in November.
Amy
will also be performing in the upcoming show “Kiss me Kate” in November
Anna
has scheduled a quick trip to USA during term 3 holidays to immerse
herself in the New York dance scene.
Jessica
Mathers has been an integral part of establishing new venues for Rhythm
Factory in the last couple of terms.
Nicky
has been busy choreographing items for a school show.

Achievement Booklets
 |
The
achievement booklets have been designed to enable everyone to follow the
progress of your child throughout the year. They are age specific and
detail goals for our teachers and students to work towards throughout
the coming terms.
Each
week a new achievement is worked on and is then stamped. Once all of the
exercises have been completed and stamped the children will receive a
special merit award for all their hard work then they will proceed to
the next booklet. Please remember to bring your card to each class to
avoid disappointment. (There will be a small printing charge of $1 for
any lost cards) |

Term
Update |
It’s
been a wonderful term of classes thus far for so many students, and our
teachers have been sharing in some delightful moments with the children.
We have been able to see that our aim of assisting in increased
co-ordination, flexibility, body awareness and focus while having a fun
and learning experience are being met on a daily basis.

Term

As we reach the
exciting conclusion of term 4, we are delighted to remind parents that
last class of term incorporates an in room show for parents.
Great opportunity to
applaud your children and the wonderful advances they have made with
their dances and new steps.

New
Year – 2006
 |
Regular
classes will recommence from 10th February 2006, as with
regular school holidays it may seem like a long break but we look
forward to seeing you return to classes to enjoy a continuation of the
fun and learning gained throughout the year. New props, new moves and
new ideas will be in store for next year.

Creative Arts Holiday Programme

wonderful programme has been put together for your children to enjoy
during the holidays. During the week of 2nd – 6th
of January classes will be held in Epping Heights Public School from
10am -3pm incorporating dance, music, arts & crafts, drama, performance
and much more ……

What’s
been happening at RF…….
|
Rhythm
Factory teachers participated in Children’s Week in Castle Hill visiting
a number of preschools and running fun classes for the children at their
venue.
Also
teachers have enjoyed visiting sessions in the Liverpool district. A
wonderful programme run by the local Playgroup committee saw classes
held through out the week for children, many of whom were new to dance
and movement.
A
couple of teachers have also enjoyed a successful season on stage
performing in Mosman recently in the musical “Sweet Charity” |

Wow!!! Here we are over
half way through the year!
Just a quick email as
reminder that term 3 classes will commence from this coming Monday
18th July.
We are so thrilled with
the progress that so many of our students are showing and we would like thank
you for sharing in the joy that comes from each class.
All our passionate and
experienced teachers are committed to the vision that Rhythm Factory is a
place to provide a foundation for early age dance, music and movement through
fun, entertaining, learning experiences for all children in a warm, caring
environment making a difference to their confidence, self esteem, body
awareness and ability to interact with others.

Rhythm Factory classes are
now available for your party, with teachers fully equipped with props, music,
energy and fun our classes can be run for a one off special party or occasion.
When it’s all about that special someone why not have them enjoy the magic of
dance time with a special visit from dancing teacher. Call us to discuss your
next party and how we can help make it a special experience.
Felicities Adventures
Rhythm Factory has an upbeat,
modern, bright, theatrical dance group of adult performers that do an
extremely popular show for young children.
With an emphasis on
participation, our show is a combination of singing, story telling and dance
that allows children from the age of 15mths to 8 years to participate in the
story and engage in a high energy workout of dance and movement. Available for
Fun days, special events, fundraisers etc

NOTICE Term 1 2005
It has been a great start to the year. We are
so pleased with the enthusiasm in the classes and look forward to seeing you
all after the break!
We return to classes on the week of 2nd May and
it is going to be so much fun with new themes for all ages. The 3 – 7 year
olds will be learning dances to ABBA and having a costume performance in one
of their mid year classes for parents and family to enjoy whilst the younger
children will be having themed classes such as winter wonderland and jungle
animals.
If you have any friends who might be interested
in coming to classes please have them call us on (02) 9743 1605 over the next
couple of weeks and so that we can ensure a space in the class for them.
Term fees remain at $90 per term however due to
increased administration and venue costs we will be increasing our casual rate
to $15 per class effective from 2nd May.
Looking for entertainment for your next
birthday party? Rhythm Factory has an upbeat, modern, bright, theatrical
dance group of adult performers that are available to entertain at birthday
parties and children’s events. In July there is a performance scheduled of
“Felicity’s Fabulous Adventure”. Tickets and details will be available
shortly.

Staff Additions
